About Safe to Travel

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Safe to Travel, a site dedicated to promoting the safety of young people as they travel in and around our cities.

The Website and DVD

The website and accompanying DVD are designed as interactive tools for young people to discover safe routes and methods of travel. With the Safe to Travel Gang enter into a world of movies, interviews, vox pops and games.

We even have several competitions in which young people and adults can win prizes which include helicopter rides, bowling tickets and cinema tickets, a mountain bike and a chance to spend the day as a radio presenter!

Birmingham Signposting Service

The Safe to Travel Project has been developed by The Birmingham Signposting Service. The service provides information and advice to young people and adults working with young people. Using the Free Phone number, websites, text service and e-mail our qualified and experienced advisors are ready to help you out.
